Programming

Programming is typically divided into two types: Formal and Informal. Formal Programming is considered all academic & fannish proramming that entails presentations, discussion and hands-on exploration of topics relating to Harry Potter and the literary world. Our Formal Programming schedule will run all day Friday and Saturday, and we may have some Formal Programming sessions on Thursday as well. Think of Formal Programming as school-like — attendees will go from session to session, learning about, discussing, debating and exploring themes from and inspired by Harry Potter.

Informal Programming is everything else! Quidditch, Wizard Rock, fanfic readings, meet-ups, you name it! Our special events, such as our Wand by Wand musical revue and fashion show also fall under Informal Programming. Informal Programming runs the gamut, schedule wise, with events happening from 9 a.m. in the morning to 2 a.m. at night!
